What makes a person artistic? Is it because they love to paint, sculpt, or write? From my point of view, it is anything that a person creates. Dreams that only live in our mind until they are put to paper or canvas are somewhat unbelievable. But when you have the courage to step out on faith, and realize your work is brilliant enough for someone else to notice; that is where the real beauty lies.

Art can be found in everyday life, you just have to pay attention. It could be a majestic sunrise, or sunset. Perhaps, a white-sand beach with the sensation of powder between your toes. Maybe, it’s the homeless person stretching out their hand for food. Look at the world around you, you might be surprised by what you find.

God created the human: in my opinion, the greatest work of art. We came from a place that He wanted to see, which is why we are made in His own image. He created each one of us completely different, with our own choices, personalities, and abilities. But no matter who we are, or where we come from, God calls us to love each other.

Because of my own selfishness and judgmental state, it’s easy for me to look upon someone and make a rash conclusion as to their past, or present situation. Yes I may not agree with a person’s interests, or way of life, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love them any less. I’ll still give them a glass of water, when their thirsty.

The question is my friends: are you willing to step out in faith to share your beliefs through your actions to spread the Gospel? Not just at church, if you attend, but everywhere: work, school, or on a field of competition? It’s your choice, your decision. No one can make you do the things you do.

I wanted to take a moment to share a piece of advice from our Savior:

Matthew 22:37-39

Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
